Father's Day Treat

Hi Everyone,

Its really very strange at my part that i had actually started with this thing called BLOG....Lets start with my introduction :-  I am a housewife and mother of a two year old daughter. (thats it)??? No, there is lot more than this and that is why i am here. And the reason behind writing this blog is my husband, he really inspired me. When a career oriented lady like me have to choose  family over career than its difficult to accept the reality. But nevertheless i accepted this reality and happy too. I would like to use this medium to share my views of an intelligent, crazy and passionate homemaker.

Mostly a homemaker spend 70% of their time in kitchen so i would like to start from it. Today is a Father Day and my husband is a mango lover so here comes one of his favorite recipe. It is very easy, convenient and mouth watering recipe.

Name:- Mango Halwa

Ingredients are as follow:-
1. Suji/Rawa
2. Mango pulp / slice
3. Ghee
4. Milk
5. Kesar
6. Sugar
7. Almond

Method:-

Step 1
In this step we will roast suji/rawa. Heat  2 tablespoon of ghee and 1 cup of suji in a non stick pan/kadai. Gently sauté it on slow flame, keep a lookout for change in light brown colour of suji and it gradually becomes lighter, as this is the perfect indication of completion of first step.

Step 2
In this step we will cook suji. So now add 2 cup of mango pulp and 1/2 cup of milk. Mix it well and allow to cook.

Step 3
In this step we simply add 3 tablespoon of sugar as well as pinch of raw kesar and stir it continuously.  Important point is, dont lookout for ghee to separate because this halwa has to be moisturized otherwise aroma of mango pulp will be lost.

Step 4
Lastly allow to cool down for 5 minutes and then add 1 cup of sliced mango  and sliced almond as you wish. Served semi hot and garnish with mango and almond.

So, enjoy this mango delight and let me know your views.
